Sias signs MoA with Orkhon University

Sias International University was visited by a delegation from Orkhon University, Mongolia on September 18 and 19. The delegation was headed by the Executive Vice President, Dr. Dashdorj Yagaan. Also present were the Principal of Orkhon High School, Bayanjargal Lhagvasuren, and members of the Teaching and Research Center at Orkhon University, Munkhnasan Badmaadorj, and Tugsjargal Jimbelee.


After a campus tour, the delegation met with Sias President, Dr. Chen Sikun. Later, they met with the Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, and formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement, with a view toward dual degrees, exchanges, and cooperation projects.


Orkhon University was founded in 1992 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, as the Orkhon Institute of Foreign Languages and Secretarial Training. Orkhon University is organized into 3 schools and offers more than 20 different undergraduate degrees, as well as 7 Master's degrees and 3 doctoral programs. It also runs the affiliated Orkhon School.
