On the morning of June 16, Sias International University held a graduation ceremony for the international students from the School of International Cultural Exchange (SICE). The ceremony was held in the lecture hall of the administration building and was attended by Executive Vice President, Dong Qiming, Dean of the School of International Cultural Exchange, Jinjin Chu, deans of the various schools of Sias, members of the faculty, and graduating international students.

The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthems of the USA and China. Executive Vice President, Dong Qiming, delivered a speech and congratulated the graduating international students. He wished the students well and hoped that they would think of Sias as a second home. There were also speeches by the Teachers' Representative of SICE, Liu Jianping, Laotian student, Pei Simeng, and Korean student, Li Zhengye. This was followed by the award ceremony for the outstanding graduates of SICE. 108 students from 14 countries graduated from the School of International Cultural Exchange in 2017.
