To ease the pressure of employment on graduates, Sias International University hosted its 2016 Job Fair, in association with the Henan Province Department of Education, People's Social Office, the Henan Department of Finance, the NDRC, and Henan Province Talent Exchange Center. The Job Fair was held in the CUBA training facility at Sias' campus.

The Sias hierarchy was represented by the Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen; Sias President Dr. Chen Sikun; Vice President Liu Shuqin; Deputy Party Secretary Li Huafeng; and Assistant Principal Sun Rujian. Vice President Liu Shuqin presided over the opening ceremony.

In a speech, Dr. Shawn Chen expressed his concern for the need for community leaders with regard to the development of employment opportunities. He said that the success of Sias graduates reflected the success of the university. The work of graduates in helping the society, through their enterprises, was an encouragement for current students at Sias. The focus at Sias has been to help students to adapt and survive in society. He told students to be down-to-earth when looking for their first job and to gain as much work experience as possible.

The opening ceremony was followed by the signing of a Campus Cooperation Agreement that established an employment training base. President Chen Sikun signed the agreement on behalf of Sias. Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, announced that this agreement for the training base included 10 companies, including Coca-Cola. This initiative has brought employers and potential employees even closer, providing mutual support for students on campus and in the development zones.

In order to improve the quality of recruiters at the Job Fair, Sias has undertaken a rigorous screening and selection process for companies from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Xiamen, and Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province, and Shaanxi province. There were 546 units of companies at the Job Fair, with 16,300 jobs on offer. The companies included technology startups in Beijing and Zhengzhou, Bank of China International Securities, Gree Electric, Shuanghui Group, the Marriott group, Huarun, Dennis department store, Chinalco Henan Aluminum Fabrication, Uni-President China Holdings, Vanguard, Bright Dairy group, Foxconn, Coca Cola, SF Express in Beijing, the Chain group, and China Life insurance.
