Sias International University won 2 awards at the 2015 Education Forum hosted and organized by Xinhua News Agency in Beijing. Sias was awarded the 2015 Social Impact in Sino-Foreign Cooperative Colleges and the 2015 New Media Development Experience in Universities prizes.

Before the awards ceremony, more than 500 people gathered together at the 2015 Education Forum to discuss the road to the innovation and development of education in China. There were well-known experts and scholars from the media and the education sector, including leaders of educational institutions. Sias President, Dr. Chen Sikun, was invited to attend this event. He was interviewed by Xinhua News Agency and spoke of Sias' characteristics, future plans, Sias' media development, and the innovation and entrepreneurship of Sias' students.
