Sias student wins award at AUAP English Speech Competition

The first AUAP (Association of Universities in Asia and the Pacific) Student English Speech Competition was held at Suranaree University of Technology in Thailand, on July 23 and 24. Xiao Hongying, a senior at Sias, won a prize in this competition.


The 32 students who participated were from 11 countries in the region. Dr. Shawn Chen, the President of the AUAP, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Sias, issued the certificates to the winners.


The competition has further reflected the emphasis that Sias has placed on integrating Chinese and Western education, showcasing Sias students' oral-English speaking abilities.
