Sias commemorates 70th anniversary of V-J Day

Friday, September 4 - Sias International University commemorated the 70th anniversary of V-J Day across its campus on the 3rd of September. Sias Staff and students alike paid tribute to the veterans and leaders of the struggle against Japanese occupation during the Second World War with a flag-raising ceremony, march, and speeches.

Party Secretary Fei Hexiang, President Chen Sikun, Vice President Liu Shuqin, and Deputy Party Secretary Li Huafeng were in attendance along with the heads of the schools, student affairs department, and all the freshmen. In all there were over 8,000 employees and students present at this patriotic event.

V-J Day is celebrated for on the 3rd of September to remember the victory of the war of resistance against Japan.
