Tuesday, September 15 - Lü Huihui, the Asian record holder for the women’s Javelin throw, visited Sias International University, her alma mater, on Monday. Lü Huihui, who won the silver medal at the recently concluded 2015 World Championships in Athletics in the women’s javelin throw, also finished 5th (for the same event) at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

Lü and her coach, Wang Jianjun, were greeted by the Sias hierarchy, including Dr. Shawn Chen, the Chairman of the board of Sias, Sias President Dr. Chen Sikun, Sias Party Secretary Fei Hexiang, and Vice President, Liu Shuqin. She was given a campus tour by President Chen, and also attended a meeting with the Sias hierarchy.

At the meeting, Dr. Shawn Chen congratulated her for her outstanding achievements, and thanked her for making her alma mater proud. He said that he hoped that she would return often to give back to Sias and to inspire the students.
