Sias signs MoU with La Rochelle Business School

Sias International University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with École Supérieure de Commerce de la Rochelle (La Rochelle Business School). The MoU covered many areas and was signed with a view toward future agreements and the possible signing of a Memorandum of Agreement in the near future.


The President of Sias University, Dr. Richard Li Hua, the Director of International Relations and Development, Groupe Sup de Co La Rochelle (representing the La Rochelle Business School), Prof. Serena Rovai, the Director of International Cooperation Exchange Department (ICED), William Lu, the Director of the Administrative Office, Zhao Fei, and the Dean of the School of Chinese Language & Culture, Jinjin Chu, were all present at the meeting.


After a brief, but detailed introduction about the history and foundational ties of Sias, by William Lu, both President Richard Li Hua, and Prof. Serena Rovai discussed the merits, strengths, and potential of Sias International University, and La Rochelle Business School respectively.


With one of the largest business schools in China, the signing of this MoU represents a step forward for Sias and its School of Business by expanding its ties into Europe, with a view toward future agreements.


Located in the coastal town of La Rochelle, the La Rochelle Business School is a member of the 'Grandes écoles', a group of elite higher education establishments in France. Known for its orientation toward professionalization, and its close links with the corporate world, the AACSB accredited La Rochelle School of Business has a streamlined approach to education.
