On November 1, the Office of the Provincial Department of Education, the Ministry of Finance, the State Development and Reform Commission, and the Zhengzhou Airport Administrative Committee, jointly organized Sias International University's 2014 Graduate Campus Job Fair. This was Sias' largest-ever job fair.

Henan Provincial Committee members Jia Xiuguo and Sun Yinzheng, Dr. Shawn Chen, Chairman of the Board of Sias, President Richard Li-Hua, Vice President Liu Shuqin, and Supervisor Xiao Yun Long attended the opening ceremony of the fair.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Vice President Liu Shuqin, who described the preparations for the fair and welcomed those who attended it. Dr. Shawn Chen spoke about the unique educational philosophy of Sias, and the students' foreign language advantage. He also highlighted the ability of students to get recognition from potential employers. He asked the students to treasure this opportunity to find jobs that they are suited for.

Employment has taken the forefront in Henan colleges and universities. The recruitment event attracted more than 850 employers, providing a total of 24,000 jobs. More than 3,500 students were signed up for preliminary employment by various employers.
