Sias President and Business School Sign Management Objectives Memorandum

December 12, 2014

The President of Sias International University, Dr. Richard Li-Hua, and the Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Li Jie, signed a Management Objectives Memorandum, that includes strategic goals for the future, and certain new responsibilities for the Business School.

The Associate Dean of the Business School would be responsible for following up on MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) that have already been signed and getting them converted into MoAs (Memorandum of Agreement). The Associate Dean would now also be responsible for following up on the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation for Sias' Business School. This would help spur Sias' internationalization program, and further its income generation significantly.

There is to be a focus on Master's degree programs at the Business School, and work will be done to build the business school towards having several new Master's degrees, including MBA, MSc, MA Audit, and MPAcc (Master of Professional Accounting).

Through these intended changes, there will also be an integration of the international faculty and the Chinese faculty at the Business School.
