On December 6, the Sina Education Channel held its annual education ceremony in Beijing, titled "Education 3.0 - China's Education in the Mobile and Internet Era." Sias was awarded the "2012 Top Ten Most Influential Sino-Foreign Cooperative University" award.

Many leaders from the educational field and official representatives from eight foreign countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, and Spain attended the ceremony. The leaders from the educational field included the Chairman of the Chinese Society of Education, Zhong Binglin, the Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese Association for Promoting Democracy, Zhu Yongxin, the Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of China Association for Promoting Democracy, Yang Chunmao, the Formal Spokesman of the Ministry of Education, Wang Mingxu, the Director of the 21st Century Education Development Research Institute, Yang Dongping, and the Founder of the Zhenfund, Xu Xiaoping.

First held in 2008, the ceremony has gradually become an influential event in the Chinese educational field. The ceremony has attracted representatives of nearly a hundred media outlets and approximately one million internet users.
