15th International Culture Week begins

On October 28, Sias International University's 15th International Culture Week opened in the Italian Square. In the morning, a traditional culture tour began with Sias Party Secretary, Fei Hexiang, Executive Vice-President, Dong Qiming, and Vice-President, Liu Shuqin.


The first day of the Festival is designated as 'China day.' Various forms of traditional Chinese folk culture are on display, such as gourd pyrography, paper crafts, handicrafts, and traditional lanterns. Folk artists also perform for the students and teachers. It also includes a traditional Chinese culture exhibition and a traditional Chinese costume parade where visitors are able to appreciate various forms of traditional Chinese culture.


The International Culture Week also includes Asia day, Latin America and Africa Day, Europe Day, and North America and Australia Day during the International Culture Week. Each day has activities that are unique to the respective regions. With different themes and visual forms of different cultures, many teachers and students are able to learn about various cultures from around the world.
