2013 Candlelight Ceremony

On September 17, Sias International University's Candlelight Ceremony was held at the Track & Field Stadium. The Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, lit the torch and passed it on to student representatives from the four different academic grades.


This was followed by speeches by Dr. Shawn Chen, the President of the Sias Foundation, Dr. Alan Brown, Paul Rusnak, and Jack Gao.


The Candlelight Ceremony closed with a variety of performances, including the "Carpet of Flowers" dance, the American musical "Cats", the Chinese opera called "Red Guards", a Latin dance, and a Tibetan dance.
