On the evening of November 7, Sias International University held the closing ceremony of its 8th Reading Festival. The chief guests at the ceremony included the Director of the University Students' Reading Committee, Cui Bo, the Deputy Party Secretary of Zhengzhou University's Library, Guan Yongchang, the Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, Sias Party Secretary, Fei Hexiang, Executive Vice President, Wu Tiejun, and Sias Supervisor. Xiao Yunlong.

Dr. Shawn Chen said that the Reading Festival was helpful for students to develop good study habits, and he was hopeful that every student would nurture good reading habits. Cui Bo stressed that reading plays an essential role in promoting Chinese culture in the 21st century and, like Dr. Shawn Chen, he also encouraged students to make reading a part of their daily lives. Fei Hexiang said that the 8th Reading Festival had been successful.

Wu Tiejun announced the winners, for both students and organizations, for the Reading Festival activities, while other leaders distributed the prizes. The ceremony closed with several performances.
