National Peking Opera Company holds Special Performance at Sias

Sias International University invited the National Peking Opera Company to hold a special performance on May 30. The Inspector of the Henan Department of Education, Zhang Jian, the President of Anyang Vocational and Technical College, Lu Aiguo, and Sias Party Secretary, Fei Hexiang, attended the performance.


On behalf of the Sias faculty and students, Fei Hexiang welcomed the National Peking Opera artists. He also shared his thoughts about the implementation of art education for university students. He said that this performance would provide an excellent opportunity for students to experience one of the higher art forms in China.


The opera company then performed an opera called Matchmaker. In addition to the performance, a lecture about the Peking Opera was given, which gave attendees a great understanding and appreciation for the art form.
