From July 23 to 26, Sias International University held a Summer Work Conference. University leaders and over 1,000 employees attended the conference.

At the start of the first day, the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen, shared Sias' achievements in teaching and scientific research and analyzed the problems with the graduate school pass rate. He said that to make Sias outstanding among the more than 2,000 universities in China, Sias must develop its unique features. This was followed by the speech, "Challenges and Chances" by Sias President, Li Haijun, and "The Virtue of Teachers" by Party Secretary, Fei Hexiang.

Sias also invited many educational experts to share their opinions on the operational issues of Sino-US educational institutions. The experts included the Advisor to the National Higher Education Association, Pan Maoyuan, Expert at the Higher Education Association Establishment Consultative Committee of the Department of Education, Lin Jinhui, and the Director of the National Biological Experiment Teaching Demonstration Center, Wang Jinfa.
