May 15, 2008

Two students from Sias International University's School of Electronics & Information Engineering, Xu Yi and Zhang Jiaqing, majoring in Information Management and Information Technology, passed an interview organized by the German Embassy in China. The purpose of the interview is to test the basic linguistic ability of students, as the ability to use German fluently is a prerequisite for students who want to study in Germany.

Xu Yi and Zhang Jiaqing passed the interview successfully after the completion of German language training organized by the School of Electronics & Information Engineering. They are the first students to pass the interview since the project was founded at Sias. Xu Yi is a sophomore, while Zhang Jiaqing is a junior.

This project was set up at Sias for the graduates of the School of Electronics & Information Engineering to obtain the required qualifications for studying aboard. It has opened up a new path to postgraduate education for the graduates of the school.
