Sias University held an enrollment education coordination meeting on the 27th of August to address issues concerning the enrollment education of the university's freshmen of the 2021/22 academic year during the pandemic and related prevention and control work. The Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, Acting President, Zhao Yuxin, and Vice President, Zheng Min, attended the meeting. The heads of relevant departments, including the Administration Office, Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office, Academic Affairs Office, Communist Youth League, and Office of International Affairs, also attended the meeting. The meeting was held both in-person and online.

At the meeting, the heads of departments presented reports that analyzed and coordinated the solutions of the preparations for freshman entrance education.

At the meeting, it was pointed out that the enrollment education of freshmen was not only a part of the regular work of the university but is an opportunity to show the professionalism and initiative of the university. During this period of prevention and control work due to the recent outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, all departments are required to make thorough preparations for the online classes for students.

The leaders at the meeting said that all departments should adhere to the university's student-centered educational concept to showcase the strength of the university. In this short period of time, Sias' international education and characteristics were to be shown through refined work plans involving the division of labor and a clear publicized admission process for freshmen, all under the requirements of the prevention and control work. The leaders encouraged service awareness in enrollment education to guide freshmen to start thinking about their future which could include the postgraduate entrance examination, studies abroad, and entrepreneurship. Departments were directed to create platforms for student innovation and encourage them to participate in various community activities.
