Sias University's online classes for the autumn semester of the 2021/22 academic year began on the 30th of August. According to teaching arrangements, 380 online courses were taught on the day, with a total of 1,225 classes.
Since the latest outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Sias University has implemented the directives and arrangements of the Ministry of Education and the Henan Department of Education concerning the opening up of universities for the autumn semester of the 2021/22 academic year. This has involved the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, holding regular teaching meetings for the new semester, deepening the reform of classroom teaching, and preparations for online teaching to ensure that the opening of the university is not suspended.
Sias has taken several measures to tackle problems associated with mobilization and the opening of the university for the upcoming semester. Based on a realistic assessment of the situation, teachers have formulated plans for the semester and their online classes. All teachers were required to participate in an online teaching training and publicity meeting - "Informatization Enables Online Teaching and Creates an Environment with High Standards" - to improve their online teaching skills. Teachers were instructed on how to integrate and use online platforms and resources such as Fanya.
