Sias University won 3 first prizes, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, 6 "Best Tutor" awards, and 1 "Excellent Tutor" award at the 2021 Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing, and Speaking Competition organized by the Henan Department of Education. It was Sias' best performance at this competition.

Sias' participants were trained under the guidance of the Language & Writing Working Committee of Sias, the Administration Office, the Student Work Department, the General Office of the Residential Colleges, the School of International Education (SIE), the School of Education, and the Sias News Center. After event mobilization, selections, program reorganization, counseling, recordings and submissions, the selected works of "Qinyuan Spring Snow" (沁园春·雪) and "Chinese Dialect" (中国话) won the first prize in the International Student Group. "The Ode to the Centenary of the Founding of the Party" won the second prize in the University Group. "The Party's Hymn" won the third prize in the Teachers' Group. "Yueyuang Tower" (岳阳楼记) won the first prize in the University Students' Group, and Gon Yongqiang won the "Best Tutor Award" along with 6 others. Gao Xiu won the "Excellent Tutor Award", and Sias University won the "Excellent Organizational Unit Award". In addition to these awards, "Qinyuan Spring Snow" (沁园春·雪) and "Chinese Dialect" (中国话) have been selected by the Henan Department of Education for participation in the national finals - the 3rd Chinese Classics Recitation and Speaking Competition - organized by the Ministry of Education.

In recent years, Sias has focused on the accelerated development and growth of disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences, while creating an atmosphere of traditional Chinese culture throughout the university. The selected entries were a product of the cultural education of teachers and students.
