The Unveiling Ceremony of the Affiliated Hospital of Sias University was held in the Henan Tianyou Cancer Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine on the 7th of July. The ceremony was attended by Sias Vice President, Zhao Yuxin, and the President of the Henan Tianyou Cancer Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine, Cai Xiping. Over 100 people attended the ceremony, including the Deputy Director of the Department of Educational Administration and Scientific Research, Zhao Chengjian, the Dean of Sias' School of Nursing, Bai Qin, and the Vice Presidents of the Henan Tianyou Cancer Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine, An Xinwei and Liu Hui.

Zhao Yuxin said that the affiliated hospital would serve as a base for clinical teaching and academic course creation for medical courses at Sias. Sias and the Henan Tianyou Cancer Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine reached an agreement to jointly establish an affiliated hospital, which would aim to build a community and in-depth cooperation and integration between the university and the hospital. Sias would serve the hospital's demand for professional applied talent. The training objectives, curriculum, course content, and evaluation standards would be formulated together and would be for the meeting of the hospital's needs as well as those of medical professionals. He stressed that the cooperation between local hospitals and universities was an effective way for both parties to develop and grow together, and was an inevitable trend of development. The unveiling ceremony, he said, would be a new starting point, a new opportunity, and a leap forward for the development of cooperation between the two sides.

Cai Xiping said that the Henan Tianyou Cancer Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine had improved its support for medical teaching since it became a practice base for Sias University. She pointed out that Sias had an advanced education concept with unique characteristics. She added that the signing and unveiling of the cooperation agreement of the affiliated hospital marked a new stage in the development of the Henan Tianyou Cancer Hospital of Integrated Chinese & Western Medicine and Sias.
