A delegation from Henan Open University visited Sias University on the 20th of May. The 15-member delegation included the President, Zhao Jihong, Deputy Party Secretary, Yang Songzhang, and Vice Presidents Zhou Haixing and Wang Haitan. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Executive President, Wang Jialin, and Vice President, Xu Shengdao, met with the delegation. They were accompanied by representatives of the Administration Office, Information & Management Department, Department of Educational Administration & Scientific Research, Student Affairs Office, Office of Residential Colleges, the Supervision & Audit Office, and the Logistics Department.

Zhao Jihong's delegation was taken on a tour of the Sias campus that included the Student Activity Center, Huanyu Residential College, School of Foreign Languages building, CUBA Training Facility, Mingli Residential College, Qixian Residential College, and other residential and teaching facilities. They were given introductions to Sias' residential college system, intelligent campus, and internationalization.

Sias then held a forum for the delegation in Qixian Residential College. Ma Jiansheng welcomed the delegation and the Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office and Executive Vice President of the Residential Colleges Office, Bai Meng, spoke about the development of the residential college system at Sias. The two sides also had in-depth exchanges on the establishment of the residential college system, collaborative education between the two universities, campus culture, and infrastructure. Zhao Jihong said that she believed that student management, student activities, and campus culture had unique advantages among colleges and universities in the province of Henan. She said that she hoped that the two sides would have more exchanges in the future, particularly those based around residential colleges, campus culture, and infrastructure.
