The President of the Henan University of Engineering, Li Liying, visited Sias University on the 21st of May. The President's 17-member delegation included the Deputy Party Secretary, Liu Yongtao, and Vice Presidents Dong Haoping and Wang Shengjiao. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, and Vice President, Xu Shengdao, met with the delegation. The heads of several departments at Sias also met with the delegation including the heads of the Administration Office, Communist Party Committee Office, Enrollment Office, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office, Student Affairs Office, General Office of the Residential Colleges, Financial Assets Department, and Logistics Department.

The delegation from the Henan University of Engineering was taken on a tour of the Sias campus that involved visits to the Student Activity Center, Sias Library, Huanyu Residential College, London Street, School of Foreign Languages building, Qixian Residential College, CUBA Training Facility, Mingli Residential College, and other residential and teaching facilities. They were given introductions to Sias' residential college system, intelligent campus, internationalization, and holistic education.

At a subsequent forum for the delegation in the Library, Li Huafeng welcomed the delegation, and Xu Shengdao spoke about the residential college system. The two sides exchanged views on the establishment of residential colleges, campus culture, and infrastructure. Li Liying spoke of her appreciation of Sias' student management, student activities, campus culture, and residential colleges. She said that they gave Sias a unique advantage among colleges and universities in Henan. She concluded by saying that she hoped that the two universities would cooperate and deepen exchanges with regard to the residential college system, campus culture, and infrastructure.
