School of Art & Design wins awards at National Competition

At the recently concluded 14th National Digital Art Design Competition, Sias University's School of Art & Design won 1 gold award, 2 bronze awards, 1 excellent instructor award, and 2 gold organization awards. The School had submitted over 500 entries in various categories including the Product Innovation Group, the Visual Communication Group, Digital Animation Group, Cartoon Illustration Group, and Shared Space Group. The competition was sponsored by the Association of Fundamental Computing Education in Chinese Universities, and the China Video Industry Association, and was organized by the Digital Image Creative Committee of the China Video Industry Association.


The Competition is an authoritative competition on a large scale, with a wide influence in the field of digital art design creativity and electronic technology innovation in China. It aims to implement the values of the 13th National 5-Year Plan and transform the intellectual property rights of colleges and universities.


The competition aims to encourage originality, stimulate innovative thinking, showcase the latest achievements in digital art and technological innovation, and spread the latest concepts in digital art design, electronic technology innovation, and industry-university research integration. In recent years, the School of Art & Design has advocated the promotion of learning through competitions and has adapted the students' curriculum accordingly. Through these competitions, the School aims to improve students' independent research and ideas for creative design. Professors and teachers have also benefited from competitions when guiding students who participate in various design competitions, leading to an increase in the number of awards received by students.
