The 2020 Chinese University Students' 'Health & Vitality' Series Competition was held through November and December 2020. The competition was sponsored by the Federation of University Sports of China and was organized by the Gymnastics Branch of the Federation of University Sports of China. A total of 438 teams with 10,515 contestants from across China participated in the competition. Sias University's Cheerleading Team, led by the Dean of the School of Physical Education, Prof. He Zuxin, the Vice Dean, Prof. Ma Ruihua, and the Director of the Sports Management Center, Wang Baoliang, took part in the competition.

The Sias Cheerleading Team won the first prize in 3 categories - the Open Action Double, the Dance Cheerleading 'Flower Ball' Group, and the Dance Cheerleading Jazz Double. Ma Ying won the first prize in the Dance Cheerleading 'Flower Ball' Singles Category, Hu Jingyi won the first prize in the Dance Cheerleading Action 'Flower Ball' Category, and Zhao Zhongxun won the third prize in the Dance Cheerleading Optional Action Category.

The Cheerleading Championships of the Federation of University Sports of China is the highest level of cheerleading events in China and is also the most authoritative and competitive competition. Sias University's Cheerleading Team has won many awards in this competition, which has, in turn, promoted the growth of talent in sports at the School of Physical Education.
