For the purposes of the effective prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic, and to prevent any cases at the university, Sias Executive President, Wang Jialin, held a meeting with the heads of the Administration Office, Supervision & Audit Department, Logistics Department, and other relevant departments to carry out safety inspections for the winter and spring.

According to the work plans of the Henan (provincial) Department of Education for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic during the winter and spring, inspections were to be carried out during the winter vacation in key areas of the university such as on-campus restaurants, warehouses, power distributions rooms, dormitories, the library, and the Information Technology Management Center.

Wang Jialin pointed out that the relevant departments must do well with regard to monitoring, self-examination, and inspections during the winter vacation and deal with all potential safety breaches and ensure the safety of the campus. He said that all units should continually carry out safety inspections and safety education during the winter vacation, enhance the awareness and vigilance of the staff, and deal with potential issues so as to ensure that there are no problems during the winter vacation. He also stressed that safety work was paramount and that responsibilities were to be delegated efficiently, with an added focus on areas such as electricity, fire, gas, and theft, with the goal of ensuring the safety and stability of the university campus.

The safety inspection is one of the most important measures set up to ensure the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic during the winter. The Security Office will be responsible for checking on the situation at every single location on campus during the winter vacation to ensure the safety and stability of the campus.
