On February 12, the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year, Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, and Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Union, Wu Hua, visited the front-line workers who were working during the Spring Festival.

Accompanied by representatives of the Administration Office, the Party Committee Office, the Supervision & Audit Department, Academic Affairs Office, the Office of International Affairs, the Trade Union, the Security Office, the School of International Education, and the Logistics Department, the leaders met with staff working at the East Gate Security Post, the Sias Hotel, the International Students' Dormitory, Student Dormitories, the Logistics Office, and the Foreign Teachers' Residential Building. The leaders met with the staff on duty and spoke to them about their work. On behalf of the university and the teachers and students, they expressed their gratitude for their hard work and giving up their chance to meet with family for the Spring Festival, all for ensuring the safety and stability of the university, and the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic during the Spring Festival. During the visit, the leaders also met with foreign teachers and international students who remained at the university during the Spring Festival.

The on-duty staff expressed their thanks for the leadership's concern and said that they would maintain the university's high standards for their work during the Spring Festival.
