Sias University held a special meeting for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic on the 25th of February. The meeting was held to study and organize the necessary prevention and control measures for the beginning of the Spring semester. Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Union, Wu Hua, attended the meeting along with leaders and deputy leaders of the various prevention and control working groups. The Director of the Administration Office and Director of the Prevention & Control Office, Qin Nan, presided over the meeting.

Qin Nan first spoke of the schedule of the Spring semester, following which the leaders of the various prevention and control working groups presented reports on their preparations for the semester. Attendees of the meeting also studied the latest provincial prevention and control regulations.

Wu Hua stressed the importance of preparations for the start of the Spring semester and said that all the work should be carried out diligently and carefully in strict accordance with the requirements of higher authorities. He said that it was necessary to improve on the plans for the reopening of the university and have orderly plans for the return of students, and their life during the semester. He concluded by talking about the division of responsibilities and the need for sustained efforts for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic.
