Sias University welcomed the first batch of returning students for the 2020/21 Spring Semester on March 1. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Executive President, Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, and Vice President, Xu Shengdao, led a delegation of leaders on an inspection of the work carried out for the returning students. The group of leaders included the heads of the Administration Office, Communist Party Committee Office, Supervision & Audit Office, Academic Affairs Office, the Logistics & Infrastructure Department, and the Security Office.

The leaders visited Sias' East Gate and North Gate to oversee the entry of the returning students which involved disinfecting luggage, temperature checks, and emergency waste disposal. The leaders also thanked the staff who were involved in the logistics and security of the process of the return of students. They also talked with students about their winter holiday, protective measures for the Coronavirus, and encouraged them to increase their efforts towards their studies. At the cafeterias and residential colleges, the leaders were presented with reports on the measures taken for the prevention and control of the virus for the dormitories and cafeterias.

The leaders spoke about the necessity of the measures for the prevention and control of the virus and stressed the need for the management and regulation of activities.

Sias University has implemented a series of requirements and arrangements from the Ministry of Education and the Henan Department of Education for the successful prevention and control of the Coronavirus and the safety and security of the teachers and students in the Spring Semester. The implementation of work plans, inter-departmental coordination, the return of students in batches, updated safety measures, and improved emergency responses, are all part of these arrangements.
