The Deputy Director of the First Certification Division at the Ministry of Education, Cui Yining, and the Deputy Director of the Second Certification Division at the Ministry of Education, Gao Qiong, visited Sias University on November 24. The delegation from the Overseas Study Service Center at the Ministry of Education was accompanied by the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation & Exchange Department at the Henan Department of Education, Chen Zhaowu, and the Deputy Director of the International Cooperation & Exchange Department at the Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Ma Qiang. The Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias University, Dr. Shawn Chen, and Sias Executive President, Wang Jialin, met with the visitors.

The delegation visited Sias' Kansas International Institute (KII) and inspected the Sino-foreign cooperation programs with regard to teaching, students' dormitories, and laboratories.

At a meeting that followed the initial tour, Dr. Chen welcomed the delegation from the Ministry of Education and spoke about the development process, planning, and positioning of Sias. He expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education for its support and assistance with regard to the certification of academic degrees at Sias and said that he hoped that they would provide international talent for Sias, particularly because of the situation abroad with regard to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Later, the Vice President of the School of Music & Opera, Lang Xiaoming (Larry Lang), spoke about the enrollment and operations of music performance programs at the University of Arizona. The Director of the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Yue Junliang, spoke about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Sias, with regard to the running of the university and international education. He said that he hoped that the Ministry of Education would be able to provide guidance with regard to studying abroad. The promotion of enrollment and the operations of the Music Performance Program with the University of Arizona.

Cui Yining spoke about the Overseas Study Service Center at the Ministry of Education. She said that the Center was a public institution directly under the Ministry of Education. It is engaged in aiding students with studying abroad, studying in China, and international exchange and cooperation in education. The Center has been committed to supporting and serving the development of colleges and universities.
