Sias Women's Basketball Team wins 2 Provincial Titles

The 28th Henan College Basketball League and the 23rd CUBA University Basketball League (Henan Division) began at the Henan Basketball Association on December 5. Sias University's women's team won the championship and participated in the National championships on behalf of the province of Henan.


Sias has prioritized this competition, and the Dean of Sias' School of Physical Education, Prof. He Zuxin, has encouraged this participation. The team was trained by teachers from the School of Physical Education - Cao Bin and Ma Xiaoting. The team from Sias University beat the team from Henan Normal University [38-28] in the final.


The Henan College Basketball League is the largest and most inclusive event of college basketball in the province of Henan. The women's team from Sias University has had continued success at this tournament since it was founded in 2017. It is the 2nd time that they have won the provincial championship.
