School of Nursing holds Freshman Introductory Meeting

Sias University's School of Nursing held an introductory meeting for freshmen on September 28. The Dean of the School of Nursing, Bai Qin, was present, as were the leaders of the teaching and research departments, academic tutors, secretaries, administrative secretaries, heads of the guidance center, and all the School of Nursing's freshmen from the 2020/21 academic year.


Bai Qin spoke about the School of Nursing and briefly touched on the education, training objectives, teaching staff, and employment. She said that the dedication of the staff during the Coronavirus pandemic had been unquestionable. She encouraged students to be ambitious, responsible, and patriotic while seeking knowledge, advocating science, studying hard, and innovating.


Teaching Secretary, Yan Yue, spoke about Sias' management regulations and the teaching management system. She also spoke about the programs, student status early warning system, course selection, course assessment and results, and graduation audits. The leader of the special group in charge of the Postgraduate Entrance Examination at the School of Nursing, Zhang Faqing, spoke about the importance of the Postgraduate Entrance Examination and the employment situation, development prospects, and demand for nursing professionals. A teacher from the Academic Affairs & Scientific Research Office, Ma Juanjuan, gave a detailed explanation of the significance of the Learning Guidance Center and the various services it provides.
