Sias University held a celebration for Teachers' Day on September 9. The celebration also included a Teachers' Commendation Ceremony to commend the outstanding teachers and educators who have made positive contributions to the development of the university, to praise the dedication of the staff, and to foster unity and dedication. The celebration and commendation ceremony was broadcast live in the Student Activity Center for the first time. The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, was present at the celebration, along with the Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Executive President, Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, and Vice Presidents Zhao Yuxin and Xu Shengdao.

Dr. Shawn Chen delivered the opening speech in which he introduced new staff at Sias and spoke about the development and achievements of the university. He elaborated on the work of the university from 2020 to 2021 and put forward new requirements from the implementation of work plans - the reinforcement of the integration of industry and education, ties with world-famous universities, assisting academic course creation, and scientific research, and improving the liberal arts education method. He said that he hoped that all the educators at Sias would teach their students to retain their sense of curiosity and desire for knowledge, hold on to their conscience, bear their responsibilities with regard to education, carry forward the Sias culture, and contribute to the development of Sias in the future.

Student Representative, Yi Xuyang, delivered a speech to express thanks on behalf of the students to teachers for their tireless work and selflessness.

Ma Jiansheng put forward 3 suggestions:

- First, bear one's mission and responsibilities;

- Second, be strict with oneself and nurture diligence;

- Third, strengthen learning and improve literacy.

The Teachers' Day Celebrations showed the importance of teachers at Sias who faced a wide range of unexpected difficulties during the Coronavirus pandemic. They showed resilience and adaptation in continuing their classes online and continued to make positive contributions to the nurturing and development of students with a strong sense of morality, intelligence, and labor.

At the Teachers' Commendation Ceremony, leaders of Sias presented awards for groups and individual teachers with outstanding performances in the 2019/20 academic year.
