The Student Affairs Office and the General Office of the Residential Colleges organized a special mobilization meeting on August 30. The meeting focused on the opening of the university during the first semester. The heads of the Student Affairs Office, the General Office of the Residential Colleges, the Communist Party Committee, and each residential college, as well as several administrative staff, attended the meeting.

The Directors of each department of the Academic Affairs Office delivered reports on the orientation, admission process, green channel handling, and other common problems faced by freshmen during their admissions.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office and the Executive Vice President of the General Office of the Residential Colleges, Bai Meng, stressed the responsibility of the staff and put forward specific work requirements. She said that she hoped that all students would retain their enthusiasm and acquaint themselves with the work processes of the university.
