Sias University welcomed back the first batch of freshmen from the 2020/21 academic year on August 31.

Members of the Sias leadership went to the East Gate of the university to welcome students as well as the Central Fountain Square and certain residential colleges. They helped with registration, carefully inspected the implementation of identity verification, luggage disinfection, temperature measurement, check-in procedures, and the arrangements in student dormitories. They also met with and talked to freshmen. The leaders spoke about the importance of the prevention and control work with regard to the Coronavirus pandemic and encouraged students to pay close attention to the details of this work and the requirements of the university.

In accordance with Sias' student-oriented concept, procedures such as registration were facilitated by the university with the help of the Xinzheng Bus Company who arranged several vehicles to help students transport luggage across the university campus.

Sias leaders also went to the residential colleges and work stations to inspect and guide the normalization of epidemic prevention and control work for the Coronavirus pandemic at the beginning of the first semester, and implement detailed prevention and control measures before the start of the semester.
