Sias University held a special meeting for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic during the autumn semester of the 2020/21 academic year. The meeting was held on the 7th floor of the Administration Building. Sias Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Union, Wu Hua, attended the meeting. The Director of the Administration Office, Qin Nan, presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, the heads of the Coronavirus pandemic prevention and control working groups presented reports on their preparations, specific measures, and schedules for their work during the first (autumn) semester, including educational activities.

Wu Hua thanked the participants for their work on behalf of Sias. He said that with the start of the new semester and the re-opening of the university, teachers, and students should take the situation seriously and comply with the requirements of the provincial authorities and the university. He also made arrangements for specific tasks. He stressed the need for preparations in combination with the usual work of the university that included responses to emergencies, the handling of new problems, the implementation of innovative working methods, the improvement of existing working measures, grid management, the dissemination of responsibilities, publicity and education, campus safety, food safety and management, and the psychological health of teachers and students.
