In commemoration of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Henan Party Committee's University Working Committee organized the selection and commendation of excellent Party members and advanced grass-roots Party organizations in universities and colleges in 2020.

Based on the actual performance of grass-roots organizations and Party members at Sias University, and through the procedures of grassroots declarations, deliberations, and discussions, voting recommendations, Party committee deliberations, publicity, as well as the examination and approval of the Henan Party Committee, the Party Committee of Zhixing Residential College at Sias University won the title of "Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization of Colleges and Universities in Henan". Qin Nan, who is also the Director of the Administration Office, won the title of "Excellent Communist Party Member of Colleges and Universities in Henan".

The titles of "Advanced Grass-roots Party Organization of Colleges and Universities in Henan" and "Excellent Communist Party Member of Colleges and Universities in Henan" are proof of achievements made by Sias University in the construction of grass-roots Party organizations and the education and management of Party members, which are of great significance to the university.
