On July 2, the Deputy Director of the Higher Education Department at the Henan Department of Education, Ji Shuangli; the Director of the Science & Education Department at the Henan Health Commission, Liu Guiping; the Director of the Rehabilitation Department at the 5th Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, Guo Ganghua; and the Director of the Rehabilitation Department at Zhengzhou Central Hospital, visited Sias University as part of an expert medical evaluation group from the Provincial Health Commission. The team visited Sias' School of Nursing to investigate the application of rehabilitation therapy. Sias Vice President, Zhao Yuxin, and leaders of the Academic Affairs Office, the Scientific Research Department, and the School of Nursing attended the meeting. Zhao Yuxin presided over the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhao Yuxin spoke about Sias. A teacher from the School of Nursing, Hou Rui, spoke about the reasons, basis, and ideas for the development of the undergraduate program in rehabilitation therapy. After the meeting, the evaluation group visited the School of Nursing to examine the facilities for the new undergraduate major in rehabilitation therapy. They also inspected the experimental training rooms and teaching centers.

After further discussions, the evaluation group from the Henan Health Commission stated that the goals of the undergraduate major in rehabilitation therapy at Sias' School of Nursing were clear, accurate, and were in line with the practical needs of the province of Henan. The affirmed the plans, hiring of staff, teaching equipment, and training program for the undergraduate major in rehabilitation therapy. They also put forward their opinions and suggestions for the improvement of the major.
