Sias University held a 2020 Summer Admissions Promotion Mobilization Conference on July 3. The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Executive President, Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, Vice President, Zhao Yuxin, Vice President, Xu Shengdao, and Prof. Guo Junfeng, attended the conference. Leaders of academic schools, residential colleges, and all the staff from the enrollment offices at Sias were present.

At the meeting, the Director of the Admissions Office, Zhu Hongqiang, presented the promotional work for enrollment in the summer of 2020 and explained the enrollment situation in detail. He also spoke about enrollment policies and put forward suggestions on how to make sure the publicity of enrollment was done well.

At the flag presentation ceremony, Dr. Shawn Chen presented the Sias flag to representatives of the academic schools, and residential colleges respectively. The Dean of the School of Business, Gao Youcai, said that all the faculty and staff at Sias would carefully plan to overcome difficulties and make concerted efforts to ensure that the enrollment publicity work was done well. The Deputy Party Secretary of Zhishan Residential College, Shi Dejie, reported on the ideas and plans for enrollment publicity. He said that the next stages were:

- First, to establish an online communication platform,

- Second, to carry out enrollment publicity work both online and offline,

- Third, to promote enrollment through live videos,

- Fourth, to ensure a good job is done in propaganda work for the Party,

- Fifth, to strengthen the training of staff for enrollment propaganda.

Dr. Chen then delivered a mobilization speech and re-emphasized the importance of enrollment publicity. He said that Sias needed to improve its understanding of the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on enrollment and publicity work, analyze the situation, meet new challenges, and adjust the existing work plans in real-time to accurately meet targets. At the same time, he said that all the recruitment staff should actively participate in, contribute to, and achieve results. Relevant departments were to formulate assessments and incentive measures to ensure the success of the enrollment in 2020.

In conclusion, Xu Shengdao said that all departments and units should seize opportunities, broaden publicity channels, master propaganda skills, and strictly follow the requirements for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic for personal protection.
