A delegation from Sias University visited the Taiyuan University of Technology on July 8. The delegation from Sias included the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen; Sias Vice President and Chairman of the Trade Union, Wu Hua; and the heads of the Admissions Office, Office of International Affairs, and Human Resources Department. The purpose was to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on teaching, scientific research, and international cooperation between the two universities.

In the morning of the 8th, the two sides held a meeting. The Party Secretary of the Taiyuan University of Technology, Zheng Qiang, welcomed the Sias delegation and spoke of his admiration of Sias' growth and development over the past 20 years. He said that he hoped that the two universities would maintain in-depth exchanges and help each other in their respective development. The President of the Taiyuan University of Technology, Huang Qingxue, spoke of his university's development, focusing on the growth, academic disciplines, and sports.

At the meeting, Dr. Shawn Chen gave a detailed introduction to Sias University, emphasizing the fact that Sias is an independent private university with international characteristics. He said that in recent years, Sias had rapidly developed the integration of practice with education, promoted the implementation of the residential college system, and steadily improved the level of education and teaching. He said that he hoped that the two sides would conduct multi-dimensional exchanges, cooperation, and complement each other with their advantages.

After the meeting, the delegation, accompanied by Zheng Qiang, went on a campus tour of the Taiyuan University of Technology that included the administration building, riverside landscape, library, and College of Art. Later in the afternoon, the Sias delegation visited the business departments of Taiyuan University of Technology for in-depth exchanges and inspections.
