The Party Secretary of the Ural College at North China University of Water Resources & Electric Power, Li Shengji, along with the President of the university, Huang Jianping, and the Vice President, Guo Guihai, visited Sias University on July 14. The Executive President of Sias, Wang Jialin, the Head of the Administration Office, Qin Nan, and the Heads of Sias' Kansas International Institute (KII) and other departments accompanied the delegation on a campus tour of Sias. The tour included Sias' French Street, Italian Square, German Street, Spanish Square, London Street, as well as the Student Activity Center, CUBA Training Facility, Golf Driving Range, Kansas International Institute, Chinese Garden, Library, School of Foreign Languages, and the Huanyu Residential College.

The campus tour was followed by a meeting in the Administration Building. After the delegation was shown the official Sias promotional video, Wang Jialin welcomed the guests on behalf of Sias. He spoke about the growth and development of Sias and the establishment of the Kansas International Institute (KII), focusing on the development of Sino-foreign cooperative educational projects and institutions. The Vice President of KII, Wang Huan, gave a detailed introduction to the evaluation of Sino-foreign cooperation in running institutions, the creation of majors and academic specialties, the joint Chinese and foreign faculty, and the nurturing of talent. The Vice Dean of KII, Tian Yanan, introduced the specifics of financial management at the school.

Li Shengji then spoke about the development and running of the Ural College at North China University of Water Resources & Electric Power, and said that he hoped that both sides would introduce exchanges for work experience and methodology, and jointly promote the reform and development of both universities. After the meeting, the two sides continued discussions on Sino-foreign cooperation in running educational institutions, majors, and personnel training.
