Sias Executive President, Wang Jialin, visited the new student dormitory construction site, along with staff from the Logistics & Infrastructure Department on April 10.

Wang Jialin thanked the construction workers for returning to Sias early and their hard work during the pandemic. He presented them with over 50 kgs of pork, tofu, cabbage, and noodles. He encouraged them to ensure safety and security as well as the disinfection and cleaning of the construction site, dormitory, and cafeteria as part of the prevention and control work during the pandemic. He said that awareness of preventative measures among all staff and workers was necessary to protect all those at Sias during the pandemic.

Wang Jialin also said that the construction of the new dormitory building will directly contribute to the rise in admissions of new students at the beginning of the new academic year (2020/21) in the autumn. He said that the deadline for the construction project was tight, but he had full faith in the construction workers' abilities to cooperate and meet the deadline safely and with the highest quality.
