The Deputy Director of the Henan Department of Education, Zhang Baozhu, visited Sias University on March 4. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Executive President, Wang Jialin, and Vice President, Wu Hua, met with the visitors and accompanied them on their inspection of the working groups for the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

The delegation inspected the operations of Sias University's epidemic prevention and control office, the facilities in the isolation areas, and the preparations for epidemic prevention materials management. They also focused on Sias' methods for the accurate screening of teachers and students, dining and meal plans for teachers and students when they return to the campus, the management of Sias' foreign faculty and international students, and the implementation and development of online classes.

Zhang Baozhu praised the leadership and the staff for their work towards the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. He also expressed his thanks to the teachers and front-line staff for all their hard work. He pointed out that as the number of teachers and students in colleges and universities was large, widely distributed, and they had been mobile during the winter vacation, certain steps needed to be taken:

- Sias should continue to implement various prevention and control measures

- Preparations and adjustments were to be made for classes in the current academic semester

- The management of foreign teachers and international students was important, and no returning foreigners were to be allowed

- Campus control, campus safety and stability were to be conducted scientifically to best prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.
