The Director of the Standing Committee of the Xinzheng Municipal People's Congress, Wang Junjie, visited Sias University on March 10, along with a delegation, to inspect and guide the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, who is also the Leader of the Epidemic Prevention & Control Leading Group at Sias, and Sias Vice President, Wu Hua, who is the Deputy Leader, and Chairman of the Labor Union of the Epidemic Prevention & Control Leading Group at Sias, accompanied the delegation on their inspection tour.

Wang Junjie and his delegation inspected the body temperature detection and registration measures at the East Gate (sole entry point) of Sias and inquired about the management and security equipment of the isolation areas, the reserves of materials, campus security measures, investigation and management of teachers and students, and the circumstances and conditions of the foreign faculty at Sias. Sias leaders delivered comprehensive reports for each of the areas of investigation.

Wang Junjie pointed out that there are a large number of teachers and students residing in colleges and universities across the province. The university was advised to strictly follow the directives of both national and provincial government departments, clarify their management of the Covid-19 prevention and control work, and implement various prevention and control measures in detail. For Sias University, the management of the foreign faculty and international students was particularly important, particularly the strict prevention of foreign teachers and international students returning to Sias.
