The 1st Campus Intelligent Golf Championship "Huanmeng Cup" was held at the Henan University of Economics and Law's Zhengdong campus on December 30 and 31. The competition was organized by the Henan Provincial Department of Education and was hosted by the Golf Teaching & Research Center of Henan University of Economics and Law. Sias golf instructors from the School of Physical Education, Hu Chendi, and Li Dan, led the Sias team and won 1 gold medal, 6 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, and won 1st place with their total group score.

The championships consisted of a men's group, a women's group, a teachers' men's group, and a teachers' women's group. Li Huanhuan, a student at Sias, won 1st place in the Women's 9-hole Competition, with Wang Jingyan winning 2nd place in the same competition. Lü Heng won 2nd place in the Men's 18-hole Competition, and Wu Zhenghang won 3rd place. Liu Yao and Zhang Youdi won 2nd place in the Men's Inter-team Shooting Competition. Liu Yao also won 3rd place in the Men's Longest Distance Competition, and Zhang Youdi also finished in 5th place in the Men's Flagpole Competition. Hu Chendi, a golf instructor at Sias, won 1st place in the Men's Longest Distance Competition and 3rd place in the Men's Flagpole Competition. Li Dan won 2nd place in the Women's Longest Distance Competition and 2nd place in the Women's Flagpole Competition.

Since 2012, Sias University's School of Physical Education began to recruit students for a Golf major. Sias was the first university in the province of Henan to recruit students for a Golf major.
