From December 12 to 20, Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, led a delegation on a visit to Croatia, Greece, and Italy. The delegation visited Zadar University in Croatia, ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece, the town of Meran in Italy, the International Institute of Integral Innovation, the town of Marengo, also in Italy, and the Kaiserhof Hotel Management School. The delegation promoted in-depth cooperation and exchanges between Sias University and the universities through communication, negotiations, and visits to increase the ties between the parties involved.

On December 12, Ma Jiansheng and the delegation visited Zadar University in Croatia. The President of Zadar University, Dijana Vican, the Vice President, Slaven Zjalić, and the Head of the International Office, Ivanka Stričević, received the delegation. The two sides held in-depth talks on student-teacher exchanges, training, and sports exchanges. After the talks, Ma Jiansheng and Dijana Vican signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the two universities. During the visit, Ma Jiansheng visited the Department of Psychology, Department of Economics, Department of Foreign Languages, and the Institute of Oceanography, and had discussions with students and teachers at Zadar University.

On December 15, the Sias delegation visited ALBA Graduate Business School at The American College of Greece. The Associate Dean of Academic Programs, Stefanos Zarkos, and the Director of International Relations, Zoe Kourounakou, met with the delegation. Ma Jiansheng spoke about the features of Sias University as well as its international cooperation and exchanges in detail. He thanked the ALBA Graduate Business School for their support and cooperation. The two sides reviewed their exchanges since the signing of an MoU and held in-depth discussions for the development of short-term exchange programs for students next year.

On the 17th, the Mayor of Merano, Italy, Paul Rösch, and the President of the International Institute of Integral Innovation, George Teodorescu, received Ma Jiansheng and the Sias delegation. Ma Jiansheng introduced Paul Rösch to the history and development of Sias University. Paul Rösch spoke highly of Sias and said that he appreciated the idea of setting up a campus in Italy. He expressed his willingness to support and aid the construction of an overseas campus.

On the 18th, the Sias delegation visited the International Institute of Integral Innovation and was received by the President and Founder, George Teodorescu. The two sides said that they would work together to deepen cooperation and set up student exchanges between China and Italy.

On December 19, the Mayor of Marlengo, Italy, Walter Mairhofer, received Ma Jiansheng and the Sias delegation in the city hall. Walter Mairhofer, who had visited Sias University in the summer of 2019, thanked Sias for their efforts to bring students from Italy to China to learn more about Chinese culture. The two sides said that they would encourage more students to visit and study as part of exchanges between China and Italy, to promote friendly relations between the two countries.

Also on the 19th, the delegation visited Kaiserhof Hotel Management School [Hotelfachschule Kaiserhof] in Merano, Italy. The Dean of the School, Hartwig Gerstgrasser, along with the Mayor of Marlengo, Walter Mairhofer, received the delegation and held a symposium. Ma Jiansheng presented a detailed introduction to the history, characteristics, and development of Sias University. The Kaiserhof Hotel Management School attached great importance to cooperation with Sias University particularly through encouragement and support to students to visit Sias as part of fixed long-term exchange programs. During the visit, Ma Jiansheng met with student representatives who will visit Sias University next year and answered their questions about learning through exchanges in detail.
