Sias University held a Teaching Conference for the first semester of the 2019/20 academic year on August 20 at the administration building. Executive President, Wang Jialin, was present, as were the leaders of the Administrative Office, Human Resources Office, and Academic Affairs Office.

Among the key objectives for the semester were the implementation of a first-class curriculum, teaching supervision and evaluation, practical teaching, grass-roots organizations, academic and research reform, the addition of new subjects, project management, and the revision of teaching rules and regulations. The most immediate routine work included the enrollment of the freshmen, the opening of classes for existing students, graduate work, laboratory construction, and examination preparations.

In conclusion, Wang Jialin put forward 5 aspects for particular focus:

- professional development

- an improved curriculum

- increased investment

- implementation of a more efficient student management system

- Sino-foreign cooperation, especially with regard to teaching qualifications and faculty management.
