Delegation from Henan Daily visits Sias

On June 11, Han Jiajun, a member of Henan Daily, visited Sias University for exchanges. Sias President, Chen Sikun, and Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, accompanied the delegation on a tour of the Sias campus that included the European Street, CUBA Training Facility, Golf Driving Range, Chinese Garden, Huanyu Residential College, and the Sias Library. They also visited a book exhibition at Sias.

During the visit, Chen Sikun and Li Huafeng spoke of the education at Sias University as well as the development of the Residential College System. They spoke of how Sias' Residential College System is based on the ancient Chinese Academies, as well as the Western Residential College System with underlying ideas of the combination of Chinese and Western education. Sias had transformed its dormitories into educational communities where students live together for the goal of personal and professional development. The idea was based on the needs of students with regard to learning, discipline, and development.
