A research group from the Henan Provincial Department of Education visited Sias University on June 27. The group included Wang Yuan, Deng Hao, Yu Zenghuan, and Fang Yongbing, and visited Sias to carry out research on the education of the international students at the university. A survey and report were presented at a meeting later in the day. Sias Executive President, Wang Jialin, and the heads of several departments at Sias were present for the meeting.

Wang Jialin welcomed the group on behalf of Sias and thanked the Department of Education for its support and guidance to Sias.

Wang Yuan, the head of the research group, introduced the background, purpose, and requirements of the meeting. Focusing on the long-term development of international education in Henan, the survey aims at standardizing the management and ensuring the quality of education for international students in China.

The Assistant Dean of Sias' School of Literature, Wang Jing, spoke about the principles, development plans, enrollment, and management carried out by Sias for its international students. She also spoke of the scholarships, teaching systems, and individual management for the students. She also spoke of the challenges and difficulties faced by Sias with regard to working with international students and said that Sias hoped to improve its management through exchanges and learning.

After the meeting, the research group presented reports based on the university archives, information on the enrollment of students, the teaching and management of international students, and on-the-spot inspections of dormitories and classroom facilities for international students, so as to get a better understanding of the development of the work carried out at Sias for international students studying in China.
