A special survey and summary meeting of Henan's Study Abroad in China programs was held at Sias University on July 4. The Director of the International Cooperation & Exchange Department at the Department of Education of Henan, Xu Hengzhen, along with 16 other members of the research group were present at the meeting. Sias was represented by the President, Chen Sikun, and Executive President, Wang Jialin. The meeting was chaired by Zou Tao, a member of the International Cooperation & Exchange Department at the Department of Education of Henan.

Chen Sikun welcomed the delegation and said that Sias University had consistently implemented the educational policies of the Communist Party of China, and had implemented a holistic education to produce practical talents with an international perspective through the combination of Chinese and Western educational philosophies. On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sias would harness its experience over the past 20 years to maintain its status as the most unique international university in the Central Plains of China, integrate high-quality educational resources from home and abroad, and actively cooperate with world-class universities from around the globe. He also said that Sias would work towards providing Chinese students with an international platform to study abroad.

Wang Jialin thanked the research group for their support and guidance to Sias and said that he hoped that they would continue to do so in the future.

The members of the research group then presented individual reports. Xu Hengzhen presented a special survey and summary on Studying Abroad in Henan in 2019. The survey mainly focused on the long-term development of international students' education in China, the quality of their education, and the strengthening of the university's management with regard to international students. The members of the research group also exchanged views on challenges and solutions with regard to studying in China.
